One of my favorite ways to get creative with fashion and style pieces together is by mixing prints. There's a lot of fun combinations that can come from it. However, when I first started doing it, I was quite intimidated and would began with simpler prints just to ease my way in.
If you're new to mixing prints, have no fear! The basic rule of thumb is typically choosing prints that have one color in common and generally stripes go well with almost any print, especially if it's black and white (pretty much a neutral version of a print!)
In this outfit, I styled a window pane skirt with a cheetah clutch. Again, for this look I went super subtle and kept it very simple utilizing my second print as an accessory. Since I was wearing a lot neutrals, I added this bright orange top with it. I love the bold hue and how it lays with the skirt. Really brings out the print quite nicely.
What are two prints you like to mix together?

I love how you done this print mixing so subtly. I've always had my eye on that clutch and your grid pattern skirt is gorgeous!

Thank you! :)
DeleteI'm so glad I'm not that only one who was intimidated by mixing prints. Now I'm hooked on it and I swear my husband thinks I've lost my mind. He doesn't think mixing prints looks right! I absolutely love this outfit. The pop of color in your top is stunning with the window pane and leopard!
