Labor Day Weekend

Long weekends like this can make returning to work on Tuesday like a drag, but not this time. I feel extremely rejuvenated and relaxed. In between lounging poolside on a rooftop hotel in downtown and venturing to my favorite pastry places in LA, I've truly become a fan of staycations. Originally, my friends and I had planned to head to Palm Springs for the long weekend, but staying in the city had turn out to be a great alternative.

There's something about taking it easy and not traveling so much (although I do love it). I feel like living in LA even after only after two years,  you can easily become jaded and forget about the city's spark. I love spending a day or two and getting lost in this city to discover new places and revisit old favorites.

If you're in LA, definitely check out Paris Baguette in Koreatown. It's such a cute shop and there's endless options for savory and sweet pastries. It's so delicious, and I'm always craving it.

Hope your Labor Day weekend was wonderful!

XO

  1. I agree that sometimes after a vacation you need another vacation to get some rest from all of your traveling. A staycation can be a nice change of pace.

  3. It looks so delicious!!!! I certainly miss having bread in my life if this is what can be done with it. I felt the same way when I lived in Paris, it is such a busy city you get easly tired and forget about its charm.
