Weekend Recap: Generation Beauty 2015 and Clare V Sample Sale

The past couple of days was definitely a fun-filled weekend full of amazing sales and free beauty goodies. One of my favorite bag designers, Clare V, had their Sample Sale in Glendale and they had an incredible selection including their signature styles as well. Even though I arrived on time, I still ended up waiting in line for about an hour and fifteen minutes. However, the long wait was definitely worth it, because prices were slashed more than 50%, and I just couldn't resist.

The Clare V Sample Sale had everything from clutches to tote bags to laptop cases. The flat clutches were $85 while the fold-over clutches were $95. At one point, I went a little crazy and gathered about ten bags, but finally was able to narrow it down to these three clutches and a mini wristlet.

After my little shopping spree at Clare V, I headed on over to Generation Beauty in downtown. If you're not familiar with Gen Beauty, it is a beauty conference held annually and focused on bringing content creators and fans in one gathering. There are a lot of amazing beauty and lifestyle brands that attend this two-day conference with fun activities such as a manicure stations, free spray tans, makeovers, and hair styling stations.

I have to say, my favorite part of this conference was the super generous swag bags! Wow, I certainly felt like a kid in a candy shop. From brands such as Too Faced, Oscar Blandi, Tarte, Lush, Bare Minerals, this is truly makeup heaven. I don't think I'll need to go shopping for quite some time...
