Rachel Zoe
I always feel elated and giddy like a young child on Christmas morning when New York Fashion Week rolls around. The exquisiteness and breathtaking designs never cease to amaze me. I'm always in awe of a designer's creativity and use of vivid hues and fun prints.
Obviously, it's hard to narrow down the best collections, but I did want to highlight a couple of my favorites so far that I would snag off the runway and wear it in a heartbeat.
Rachel Zoe's ultra chic boho collection has such a playful yet romantic feel. I love the creamy shades and how she still incorporates other colors such as the gorgeous sienna dress. Her collection definitely inspires me to channel my inner gypsy.
Prabal Gurung's designs reflect his homeland of Nepal and focused a lot on silky and chiffon pieces with brush-like strokes. I'm really drawn to how he combined the bold orange hues with softer shades of rose and light yellow.
Marissa Webb is probably hands down my favorite collection because of her extremely well tailored suits and fun mix of lace, leather and fun prints. I'm also in love with her color palette; can't get enough of the military green and beautiful lilac! Just like Marissa Webb, DVF's collection is the definition of flirty and fun. Her goddess-like maxi dresses and playfully printed rompers are what completely sold me on her designs. Very feminine and wearable whether it's for a casual occasion or an elegant affair.
What are some of your favorite NYFW collections so far?
