You guys know my love for bodysuits and how I hope it never goes out of style because it's one of the most versatile trends. I have always owned neutral bodysuits like black or blush but have never explored printed bodysuits. I came across this super vibrant piece from Zara (similar version here !) which screams summer and instantly gets me excited for this floral season. It also came with shoulder pads which I thought I would initially dislike but ended up really loving how it adds structure to the overall look. Pair it with skinny jeans and a statement belt to define the waist. Finish off the outfit with burnt orange mules to play off the colors from the bodysuit and tie the look together. For this attire, less is more with accessories since there are two statement pieces in the outfit already (bodysuit + belt), so I opted out of wearing any jewelry and kept it minimal.  What are your thoughts on bodysuits? Striped pants? No thanks! - That used to be me years ago before I realized how flattering they can be when you find the right print and style! Vertical lines create can create such a sleek look making your legs appear leaner and taller - and who doesn't love that? Normally I would shy away from such a bold color mixed with stripes, but it's sun a fun statement pair to turn away that I had to give it a shot. Keeping the top simple with a solid neutral color along with a chunky heel, and the look is complete.  ...

Gone are the days where it was frowned upon to look like you just rolled out of bed wearing pajamas. Anything is possible with fashion especially with emerging trends of night gown-inspired dresses and robes. I must admit it took me a while to jump on this train, but when I saw  Tobi's blush duster, I decided to give it a whirl.  This style has a silky and lightweight feel perfect for transitioning into spring weather. With the flowy nature of the duster, I kept the rest of the outfit more casual and modern to balance the look out. The gorgeous blush color is what really pulls me into this style as it adds such a romantic and classy vibe that juxtaposes the edginess of the outfit underneath quite nicely. Who doesn't love a good midi dress? Lately, I've been leaning less towards mini skirts and thought I was strangely becoming conservative with my fashion choices opting for longer dresses. I realized it had nothing to do with showing less skin but rather the flattering and elegant appeal of midi dresses that really attracted me. Recently,  Tobi  gifted me with this beautiful burgundy dress   which has such a fun asymmetrical silhouette and an easy ability to dress it up or dress it down. This dress already has such an elevated and classy vibe that I decided to pair it with a bomber jacket for a more casual look but kept it fun & feminine with pointed heels. One time I had a boyfriend who once told me yellow was not my color and ever since then I believed him -- up until recently, I discovered my new found love for the color mustard and completely decided to dismiss his views. Clothes over Bros, am I right?  There's something very warm and cozy about mustard. Maybe because it started off as such a fall color and reminds me of the brisk leaves, the transition into sweater weather and the holiday season. Now, I see this color becoming a year-round staple. It's no longer only meant for Fall. You can certainly rock mustard in the spring and even summer. It's all about finding the right shade and fabric and pairing it with lighter neutrals. This outfit isn't the greatest example as I took these photos during winter but I plan to incorporate this sweater (which is surprisingly lightweight and airy) into the upcoming season by sporting it with light-washed denim or a printed floral skirt.  How about you - do you own......
