Fall has undoubtedly some of the loveliest colors and prints that you can mix and match with. I did a post recently on my favorite color trends this season here and how to wear them. Out of all the colors, my general go-to shade of choice is Olive but sometimes I like to add an extra shade or print into the overall look to spice it up a bit.
When I accessorize my olive outfit, I find that I frequently reach for leopard prints and cognac colors - whether it's in the form of boots, belts, clutches, jackets, etc. You can never go wrong pairing earthy colors together as well as a fun print like leopard into the mix.
In this look, I love the metal detailing and silhouette of the sheath dress. It has such a simple but modern feel to it. Since I wanted some height, the booties were a perfect fit and kept it casual. For a little arm candy, my leopard clutch from Clare V was a great addition because it served as my statement piece. The cool thing about leopard is that it can pop against neutral colors, but it can also be a neutral print itself and blend well with different shades.
What prints and colors do you like to mix together?
Dress: Forever 21
Clutch: Clare V
Necklace: Forever 21
Ring: Gifted from family
Boots: Nordstrom
I am so in love with that bag! And it looks great with your dress, which is gorgeous!
