Marsala

Pantone dubbed Marsala as Color of the Year for 2015, which is a gorgeous terrocotta red shade. At first I thought Marsala would only work for Fall because of the deep color but as I started to experiment with it, I found many fun ways to incorporate it in spring and summer looks as well. 

These particular shorts from Lauren Conrad's collection several years ago at Kohl's has a very rich tone of Marsala. I love pairing it with crisp white tops to keep the focus on the color and make it pop even more.
