Black & White Casual

I think the best type of outfits are the ones that can easily transition from day to night. Most of the outfits I put together are either straight up casual or upscale, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to incorporate a transitioning piece into my everyday outfit. I also work a 9-6 job, so it's definitely convenient if I can go straight from the office to happy hour for drinks in one easy attire.

Today's look made me really appreciate denim. I love that this jacket tones down the outfit a bit for a more casual attire for the day while I'm at work. Also, I'm a huge fan of chunky booties and this pair helped balance the fancy flair of the this flowy black and white skirt.
